Welcoming Ministry
Goal---
The goal of this new ministry is to provide and promote a “welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors at WHUMC. Each member or regular attendee should assume this responsibility.
Training---
There is no official training. All you need is the love of God in your heart and the desire to share it and a desire to welcome our members and visitors into a caring fellowship.
Time Commitment—
Usually the time involved will be on Sunday morning on a rotating schedule.
The following ministries will assist in this ministry:
Greeters, Information/Visitors Table Hostess,
Refreshment/Coffee/Donuts Hostess, Ushers,
Identification of 1st Time Visitors and Follow-Up, Utilization of Attendance Register, Welcoming Message on Worship Screen and Outdoor Sign.
